THE TEAM

Josh Maynard

Technical Services Manager

Josh has been with ACT Systems since 2010 and has grown to be a key member of the company. He now heads up our technical services department with his wide breadth of experience, knowledge and of course, Microsoft certifications. He is an expert in innovative infrastructure solutions and migrations – he has a particular passion for replacing older on-premises infrastructure with much improved cloud solutions.

When he is not working, Josh is studying for a BSc degree in computing with the Open University, furthering his expertise in the area. Outside of this, Josh enjoys his downtime spending it with his friends and playing a spot of badminton.

Graeme Jones

Sales and Operations Manager

Graeme has been with ACT Systems since 2009 and has been vital to the growth and culture of our company. Graeme is now ACT Systems Sales and Operation Manager. He draws on his vast experience in many different roles to provide solutions, both internally and for clients, that are purpose-built and cost effective.  

Whilst with ACT Systems Graeme has also undergone extensive training with our partners and has become a bit of a ‘collector’ for ESET, Datto and Microsoft certifications.

Outside of work, Graeme is a huge Sci-Fi enthusiast, with a passion for Marvel movies, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Stargate. He is also an avid Reading FC fan and enjoys playing Minecraft, or spending some time programming in Visual Studio.

Josh Hey

Support Team Manager

Josh Hey has been with ACT Systems since 2007 and is  our longest serving employee. Josh has played a vital role in all areas of the company and is now applying his knowledge and experience to managing the support desk. He has amassed a huge amount of experience working as a support engineer, and onsite engineer and a project engineer. On top of his wealth of technical knowledge, Josh has excellent people skills, keeping the support desk on top form every day and passing on his experience to our engineers to further their skills.

Josh keeps himself sharp outside of work with his enthusiasm for all things mountain biking. Josh is also a keen story enthusiast listening to audiobooks on his commutes to and from work. With two kids at home now, Josh is officially the king of dad jokes in the office.

Michael Ball

Customer Development and Success Lead

Michael is passionate about excellence of communication, he works with clients to deliver the ideal solution. Whilst he is known around the office for getting stuck in a revolving door once, he is never stuck for ideas; Michael loves to get his mind working on tricky situations to come up with innovative ideas and creative solutions that are outside of the box. He likes to spend his personal time on a variety of hobbies, which include bouldering, running, reading, music and he most recently started studying for a BSc Honours degree.

Agueda Pino

Finance Manager

Agueda has been with ACT Systems since 2016. She is our finance manager and mathematical mastermind. Like all good finance managers should be, she’s strict, organized and extremely focused. She has a keen attention to detail and keeps all our numbers in check. Agueda also keeps us all in line with submitting our expenses on time. However, being in charge of our pay roll, come pay day, Agueda is everyone’s best friend.

Outside of work Agueda has a keen interest in fashion and loves to travel.
