ACT Systems have been providing JPE with IT support since 2006. One of their first tasks was to set up an Outlook Anywhere access and remote connectivity to the office, this provided much-needed instant access to Outlook for employees via their laptops.
The benefits of this faster and accurate communications were immediate, but director John Paul Tointon, after consultation with his sales people and ACT systems, decided that a phone/PDA solution, which was “always on” would yield even faster response and increased benefits.

ACT Systems explained that a BES Server (Blackberry Enterprise Server), managed by ACT Systems would enable their Blackberry devices to synchronise directly with their office e-mail. Emails, tasks and contacts, whether added on the Blackberry, desktop or laptop, would be reflected everywhere else.
